Yuji Haraguchi is from Utsunomiya, Japan. He began working in the culinary world by striving to import the highest quality seafood from Japan to the East Coast of the US. Yuji soon fell in love with the many possibilities of locally sourcing American seafood. Chef Haraguchi is always seeking new ways to highlight local seafood options and showcase the beauty available just off our own shores. Over the past year he has taken a leap of faith to change careers and follow his dreams of bringing high-quality, creative ramen and Japanese preparations of local seafood to the people of Brooklyn.
