Eat My Heart Out is a supper club dedicated to savoring the art of storytelling. Created in March of 2012 by director Eugene Ashton-Gonzalez and chef Luke Davin, we held our inaugural underground storytelling dinner party in a bewitching loft down under the Manhattan Bridge.

At the event, diners are treated to a five-course vegetarian menu and signature cocktail while taking in the personal stories of some of New York’s best storytellers, writers, and performers. The ingredients, recipe, and plating of each course was a metaphoric and artistic expression of the teller’s tales. Our unique production design sweeps our guests into the narrative of the night from the opening toast to the dessert’s denouement.

Our first show featured storytelling rock star Peter Aguero, This American Life’s Seth Lind, novelist Diana Spechler, musician Aaron Wolfe, and comedian John Flynn for dessert.
